School Readiness

We love to get the children involved in their daily routines and create lots of 

opportunities for them to do things for themselves. From serving their own breakfast, 

putting on their shoes & coats independently, to helping prepare snacks or meals. 

We believe that children learn how to be happy, resilient and resourceful by doing 

things for themselves rather than have an adult always involved. 

We are constantly on hand to provide help, support and encouragement but we 

understand the importance in getting children ready for the transition to a school 

environment by helping them to be able to learn these important life skills early
